Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O6413.40 40 m SC Πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O6413.40 is a 40 m OM2 fibre optic cable with SC connectors on both ends. It has a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication, providing a short, standards-compliant link between equipment ports and passive interfaces in structured cabling installations. The cable is orange for easy identification and is suitable for high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The cable conforms to structured cabling concepts and uses SC connectors, a widely adopted connector type. Its OM2 50/125 µm multimode design supports reliable multimode transmission, and the 40 m length covers many in-building routing needs. Full duplex capability allows simultaneous two-way data transfer, and the orange jacket simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, servers and active equipment to passive patch panels
• Data center horizontal and equipment cabling
• LAN backbones and inter-rack links within buildings
• Short to medium distance multimode networking applications

Key specifications

• Brand: EFB Elektronik
• Model / MPN: O6413.40
• Length: 40 m
• Connector type: SC to SC
• Fiber type: OM2 multimode (50/125 µm core/cladding)
• Color: Orange
• EAN: 4049759145279

How to use

Route the fibre optic cable between the active device port and the passive interface or patch panel, ensuring connectors are clean and free from dust before insertion. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC socket until it clicks. Maintain proper bend radius and avoid sharp kinks; secure the cable with appropriate cable ties or routes to prevent strain on connectors. For full duplex operation, ensure correct pairing of transmit and receive channels on both ends.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection, avoid excessive bending or tension, and store spare cables coiled loosely to preserve fiber integrity. Use this OM2 multimode SC patchcord for in-building links and short-range multimode applications where SC connectors and a 50 µm core are required.
