Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O2003.3 3 m ST κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O2003.3 is a 3 m single-mode OS2 fibre optic cable with ST connectors on both ends. Featuring a 9 µm core diameter, this yellow cable supports full duplex transmission and is designed for high-speed, low-loss data links in networking and data center environments. Its simple, durable construction makes it suitable for patching, interconnects and short backbone runs where single-mode performance is required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides stable single-mode transmission with low attenuation thanks to OS2 specifications and a 9 µm core diameter. The ST connectors ensure secure mechanical connection and straightforward insertion/extraction in compatible equipment. The 3 m length gives flexibility for rack-to-rack or device-to-device connections while the yellow outer jacket provides easy visual identification in cable bundles. The cable’s construction supports consistent full duplex operation for symmetrical data flows.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and rack interconnects in data centres
• Network device-to-device connections (switches, transceivers)
• Point-to-point fibre links over short to medium indoor distances
• Telecommunications and structured cabling installations

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Fibre type: Single-mode OS2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: ST to ST (both ends)
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Outer jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Before connecting, inspect connector endfaces for dirt or contamination and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Align and insert each ST connector into the device or patch panel receptacle until it seats with the bayonet locking mechanism. Use separate transmit and receive ports as required for full duplex operation. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it with cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors. When disconnecting, unlock the bayonet coupling and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable without sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for single-mode fibres. Keep connector endfaces covered with dust caps when not in use, and perform regular inspection and cleaning to maintain optimal signal performance. Use this cable indoors or in protected environments as part of a structured cabling plan.
