Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0480.2 2 m LC κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O0480.2 2 m LC Yellow is a single-mode OS2 fibre optic patch cable designed for short interconnects in network racks, patch panels and active equipment. With a 9 µm core diameter and LC duplex connectors, this 2-metre cable provides stable high-speed optical transmission with low attenuation, making it suitable for structured cabling in data centers and telecom environments. The bright yellow jacket aids quick identification of single-mode links in mixed-cable installations.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low insertion loss and consistent signal integrity thanks to the OS2 single-mode specification and precise 9 µm core. The LC connectors provide a compact duplex interface compatible with modern transceivers and network equipment. The 2 m length balances flexibility and minimal excess slack for tidy cable management. The durable outer jacket protects the optical fibres from mechanical stress while the yellow colour simplifies visual identification of single-mode circuits.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between servers, switches and patch panels in data centers
• Fiber links within telecommunications racks and equipment rooms
• Connecting optical transceivers and SFP/SFP+ modules with LC ports
• Structured cabling runs where single-mode OS2 performance is required

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode (OS2)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: LC duplex
• Length: 2 m
• Jacket colour: yellow
• Typical application: high-speed optical links in data centres and telecom

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before connecting. Align the LC connector latch with the device's LC port and gently insert until it clicks into place. When disconnecting, press the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid stress on the fibre. Route the cable to avoid tight bends; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for single-mode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. Use cable management accessories to secure the cable and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance, keep LC endfaces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and store spare cables in a way that prevents kinks. Avoid excessive bending and mechanical strain; follow industry best practices for single-mode cabling in data centres and telecom installations.
