Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0383.2 2m LC SC κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O0383.2 is a 2-meter OS2 single-mode fibre optic cable with LC to SC connectors and a 9 µm core diameter. Designed for indoor structured cabling and data center environments, this yellow cable supports full duplex transmission and is intended for high-speed, long-distance signal transfer over single-mode links. The cable’s color coding and standardized connector types simplify identification and installation in routing trays, patch panels, and equipment ports.

Advantages

The cable provides low attenuation and stable single-mode signal propagation due to the 9 µm core and OS2 classification. LC and SC connectors offer compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels while enabling secure connections and reliable mechanical performance. The 2 m length balances convenience and neat cable management without excess slack, and the yellow sheath delivers clear visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Indoor network backbones and horizontal fibre runs
• Data centre patching between shelves, panels, and active equipment
• Telecommunication rooms and optical distribution frames
• Longer-distance single-mode links within buildings

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode (OS2)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Length: 2 m
• Transmission: full duplex
• Jacket color: yellow

How to use

Route the fibre cable along existing cable trays or within conduit to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Remove protective dust caps from LC and SC connectors just before insertion into adapters or transceiver ports, ensuring connectors align with the adapter keying. For patching, plug the SC end into the panel or equipment bulkhead and the LC end into the transceiver or adapter, confirming secure seating. When deinstalling, pull using the connector body rather than the cable jacket to prevent damage.

Recommendations

Maintain minimum bend radii as specified for single-mode fibre, avoid excessive tension during routing, and keep connector end-faces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Use dust caps when connectors are unused and label both ends for straightforward identification in complex installations.
