Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0371.3 3 m LC ST πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O0371.3 is a 3 m OM2 multimode fibre optic cable with LC and ST connectors designed for reliable short- to medium-range network links. The orange jacket and 62.5 µm core diameter correspond to OM2 multimode standards, enabling full duplex communication and stable data transfer between active network devices. The cable supports standard multimode transceivers and is suitable for structured cabling environments where consistent signal integrity and easy connector mating are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable combines LC and ST connector types to provide compatibility with equipment using either connector, reducing the need for additional adapters. The 3 m length is convenient for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections within server rooms and communication closets. The OM2 multimode core with a 62.5 µm diameter supports commonly used multimode transceivers and ensures predictable attenuation and bandwidth performance over typical multimode distances.

Suitable for

• Connecting network equipment with LC and ST ports in server rooms and racks
• Short- to medium-range multimode links within buildings and campus networks
• Patch panels, media converters, and legacy multimode installations

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Fibre type: OM2 multimode
• Core diameter: 62.5 µm
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: ST
• Cable jacket color: Orange
• Communication mode: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and, if necessary, clean with an appropriate fibre cleaning tool to avoid signal loss. Insert the LC connector into the LC port until it clicks and align the ST connector with the ST receptacle, turning the bayonet coupling to secure it. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain bend radius recommendations typical for multimode fibre to preserve optical performance. Verify link integrity with appropriate testing equipment or by checking device link LEDs after connection.

Recommendations

Store unused cable ends with protective dust caps in place and avoid excessive pulling force or repeated flexing. Use this OM2 cable for short- to medium-distance multimode applications and confirm compatibility of transceivers and equipment ports (LC, ST) prior to deployment to ensure reliable full duplex communication.
