Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0330.5 5 m LC πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O0330.5 5 m LC Orange is an OM1 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 62.5 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex communication, this 5 metre cable provides a reliable optical link for short-range network connections. Its orange jacket improves visibility in cabling runs and helps distinguish multimode fibres in mixed installations.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers a standard OM1 multimode core that supports established short-range data transmission methods and full duplex communication. The LC connector on each end provides a compact, latching interface compatible with equipment that accepts LC terminations. The 5 m length balances reach and manageability for rack-to-rack or device-to-patch-panel connections, while the orange jacket aids identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Short-range multimode connections within data centers and server rooms
• Connecting network equipment with LC ports such as switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Structured cabling installations where OM1 multimode fibre is specified
• Environments requiring visible cable identification to simplify troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM1 multimode
• Core diameter: 62.5 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 5 m
• Cable colour: Orange
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Unpack the EFB Elektronik O0330.5 and route the cable along the planned cabling path, avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress. Align the LC connectors with the LC ports on the devices or patch panels and insert until the latch engages. Use both ends to establish the optical link for full duplex communication. When rerouting or removing the cable, depress the LC latch before withdrawing the connector to avoid damage.

Recommendations

Install and store the cable following standard fibre handling practices: maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer, avoid kinking, keep connectors dust-free using protective caps when not connected, and perform optical cleaning and testing after installation to verify link performance.
