Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0313.0,5 0,5m LC ST τυρκουάζ

The EFB Elektronik O0313.0,5 is a 0.5 meter OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC and ST terminations in a turquoise jacket. Designed for full duplex transmission, the cable uses a 50 µm core diameter to support high-speed links in short- to medium-range network environments. Its compact length and mixed connector types make it suitable for interconnecting equipment in rack-mounted systems, patch panels and optical transceivers where LC and ST interfaces coexist.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable delivers reliable signal integrity and low attenuation across short-distance multimode links. The combination of LC and ST connectors provides flexibility for connecting newer LC-equipped devices to existing ST-based infrastructure without additional adapters. The turquoise jacket identifies the OM3 performance class and eases cable management in dense installations, while the short 0.5 m length minimises excess slack and reduces clutter in patching areas.

Suitable for

• Short-range multimode links in data centres and server rooms
• Connecting LC transceivers to ST ports on older network equipment
• Patch panel and rack-to-equipment patching where space is limited
• Laboratory and testing setups requiring short, high-quality fibre links

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector types: LC connector (one end) and ST connector (other end)
• Duplex: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Turquoise

How to use

Route the fibre cable between the LC and ST ports ensuring minimal bending and avoiding sharp kinks; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre. Insert the LC connector into the LC socket with the latch engaged and align the ST connector by aligning its key and securing the bayonet coupling. Confirm link status on connected devices and, if necessary, clean connector end-faces with approved fibre cleaning tools prior to connection to ensure optimal performance.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dust-free environment when not in use, protect connector end-faces with dust caps until installation, and avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius to preserve optical performance and service life.
