The EFB Elektronik LC-LC Duplex Patch Cable (3 m, 50/125 OM3) is a multimode fibre optic cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Fitted with LC connectors on both ends, the cable supports full duplex communication and is suitable for networking, data centre links and InfiniBand applications where low attenuation and stable optical performance are required.

Advantages

This 3 m LC-LC fibre cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance thanks to its 50/125 µm OM3 core. The LC connectors provide a compact form factor and secure connections in high-density patch panels. Manufactured by EFB Elektronik, the cable benefits from quality controls and component selection aligned with professional infrastructure installations.

Suitable for

• Patch connections in data centres and server rooms
• InfiniBand links and high-speed interconnects
• LAN backbone and horizontal multimode fibre runs
• High-density patch panels and fibre distribution frames

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully and connect each LC connector to the corresponding LC adapter or transceiver port, observing the transmit/receive orientation for full duplex links. Use strain relief where available and avoid sharp bends that exceed the fibre's minimum bend radius. For best performance, keep connector endfaces clean and inspect or clean them with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before insertion.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, use this OM3 LC-LC patch cable in multimode environments matching OM3 specifications and install within recommended bend radii and cable management paths. Regularly inspect connector endfaces and store the cable coiled without tight loops when not in use.
