Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik Duplex LC-LC 50/125µ OM5 15m

The EFB Elektronik Duplex LC-LC fibre optic cable is a 15 m OM5 multimode patchcord with 50/125 µm core/cladding designed for full-duplex data transmission. Compliant with structured cabling concepts, this fibre jumper provides the shortest active-to-passive interconnection between device ports and patch panels. It uses LC connectors on both ends and is suitable for high-density installations and modern network protocols including InfiniBand.

Advantages

The cable supports OM5 multimode performance for enhanced wavelength-division multiplexing and higher aggregated bandwidth compared with earlier multimode types. Duplex LC-LC termination ensures stable full-duplex links with small connector footprint. At 15 m length the jumper offers flexible reach for typical data centre and wiring closet layouts while adhering to industry-defined roles for patchcords within structured cabling.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and equipment interconnects
• InfiniBand links and high-speed multimode applications
• Rack-to-rack or panel-to-equipment patching
• High-density installations requiring LC duplex connectors

How to use

Install the duplex LC-LC jumper by inserting each LC connector into the corresponding LC socket on active devices or patch panels, observing correct polarity for transmit/receive channels. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it using standard cable management to avoid strain. For multimode links, ensure transceivers and equipment support OM5 specifications for optimal performance.

Recommendations

Verify connector cleanliness before insertion and use dust caps when the cable is not connected. For reliable multimode performance, maintain bend radius limits specified by the manufacturer and match the jumper to compatible OM5 transceivers and patching infrastructure.
