Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών duplex InLine ST/ST 50/125µm OM4 15m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable ST/ST 50/125µm OM4 15m is a multimode fiber cable with a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 specification. Equipped with ST connectors on both ends, the cable supports full-duplex data transmission and is intended for short- to medium-range networking links up to 15 meters. It is compatible with OM4 systems and suited for installations requiring reliable, high-speed optical connections.

Advantages

This OM4 duplex fiber cable provides higher bandwidth and improved modal dispersion characteristics compared to lower OM types, enabling better performance for gigabit and multi-gigabit applications over the specified distance. ST/ST connectors offer secure bayonet-style coupling for stable connections. The 15 m length covers typical in-room and rack-to-rack connections while keeping signal loss within expected limits for multimode fiber.

Suitable for

• Server room and data center interconnects
• Short-distance backbone and patching between network equipment
• Multimode fiber networks using OM4 specification

How to use

Connect each ST connector to the corresponding ST port on your network devices, ensuring proper alignment of the ferrules and secure bayonet engagement. Use this duplex cable to establish a full-duplex optical link; observe transmitter and receiver port labeling to avoid cross-connection. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep bend radius above manufacturer-recommended limits, avoid exposure to excessive tension, and verify cleanliness of ST connector endfaces before mating. Use OM4-compatible transceivers and patch panels to maintain the expected bandwidth and signal integrity.
