Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών duplex InLine SC/ST 50/125µm OM3 7.5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/ST 50/125µm OM3 7.5m is a multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. It uses OM3-grade 50/125 µm multimode fiber to support high bandwidth applications and full duplex communication. One end of the cable is terminated with two SC connectors and the other end with two ST connectors, providing compatibility between equipment that uses different connector types. The 7.5 meter length allows flexible routing in server rooms, data centers and office networks while maintaining signal integrity for multimode applications.

Advantages

This fiber duplex cable combines OM3 multimode performance with mixed SC and ST terminations for flexible connectivity between devices. The 50/125 µm core/cladding dimensions are standard for multimode networks and support higher modal bandwidth compared with lower OM grades. Duplex construction enables simultaneous transmit and receive channels, reducing the need for separate single-fiber runs. The 7.5 m length balances reach and manageability in structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting multimode network equipment in data centers and server rooms
• Linking switches, transceivers and patch panels with SC and ST ports
• Office backbone cabling and short-range fiber links
• Lab setups and equipment testing requiring mixed connector interfaces

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector configuration: Duplex (2 fibers)
• Connectors: SC on one end, ST on the other end
• Length: 7.5 m
• Polishing/termination: Factory-terminated multimode connectors
• Application: Short to medium distance multimode links

How to use

Inspect connectors for dust or damage before use and clean if necessary with appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Align and insert SC connectors into SC adapters or ports and plug ST connectors into compatible ST sockets, ensuring secure latching on each end. Maintain gentle cable bends and avoid tight radii during routing; follow recommended bend radius for multimode fiber to prevent increased attenuation. Use cable management and strain relief at patch panels and equipment to protect terminations and preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, avoid excessive twisting and pulling, and perform end-face inspection and cleaning before connecting. Use this OM3 duplex cable for multimode short to medium range links where SC-to-ST conversion is required; pair it with compatible transceivers and patching hardware to ensure expected optical margins.
