Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών duplex InLine SC/ST 50/125µm OM2 3m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/ST InLine 50/125µm OM2 3m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for short- to medium-distance data transmission in networking and telecommunications environments. It features OM2 multimode fiber with a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter and a 3 meter length, terminated with an SC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other to provide compatibility with equipment using either connector type.

Advantages

This fiber duplex cable supports full-duplex communication and is optimized for multimode OM2 performance, enabling reliable high-speed data transfer over horizontal and campus network links. The SC and ST connectors offer secure mechanical mating and simple insertion and removal, while the multimode 50/125 µm construction provides consistent optical performance for fiber links within the cable's distance limits. The 3 m length allows flexible routing between patch panels, switches and devices without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches, routers and transceivers in data centers and server rooms
• Patch connections between optical patch panels and active equipment
• Telecommunications and campus backbone links where OM2 multimode fiber is specified
• Short- to medium-range multimode fiber links within buildings

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM2
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Length: 3 m
• Connector A: SC (single) simplex on one end
• Connector B: ST (bayonet) on the other end
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers)

How to use

Install the cable by aligning the SC connector with the corresponding SC receptacle and inserting until it clicks, then mate the ST connector by inserting and twisting the bayonet coupling until secure. Verify that the duplex orientation matches transmit and receive ports on both ends of the link. Avoid bending the fiber beyond its minimum bend radius during routing and secure the cable along cable management paths to prevent strain. Use appropriate dust caps when connectors are not connected to protect endfaces.

Recommendations

For best optical performance, clean connector endfaces before installation, maintain gentle bend radii, and use within its intended short- to medium-range OM2 multimode applications. Check compatibility of SC and ST interfaces on your devices and ensure correct Tx/Rx alignment for full-duplex operation.
