Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών DeLOCK 86566 0,5 m LC ST aqua

The DeLOCK 86566 is a 0.5 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC and ST connectors designed for full duplex data transmission. It has a 50 µm core diameter and is intended for use in network connections where high-speed, low-loss links are required. The cable is finished in aqua and manufactured to meet common networking installation requirements.

Advantages

The LC–ST combination provides compatibility with devices using either connector type while OM3 multimode fibre supports higher bandwidth and short-range high-speed connections. Its 0.5 m length suits patching between nearby devices, and the compact connectors enable reliable, low-loss connections in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to media converters
• Patching between network equipment in racks and cabinets
• Short-distance multimode fibre links in data centres and server rooms

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered down or their ports allow hot-plugging, then align and insert the LC connector into the LC port and the ST connector into the ST port until secure. Verify link status on connected equipment and perform any required optical transceiver configuration or testing to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and protect connectors from dust when not in use. Use appropriate strain relief and routing in cabinets to prevent mechanical stress and maintain optimal signal performance.
