Antenna cable ShiverPeaks 81820-1 20.00m 110dB White is a 20 metre coaxial lead designed for connecting antennas and RF equipment in home and professional environments. The cable features multi-layer shielding with an aluminium layer and a digital CCS construction to provide a shielding effectiveness greater than 110 dB, helping to reduce electromagnetic interference over long runs. Its white jacket offers a discreet appearance for visible installations while the length supports flexible placement of antennas and devices.

Advantages

The cable delivers a long, continuous 20.00 m run that avoids signal loss from multiple joins and simplifies routing between antenna and receiver. High shielding performance above 110 dB reduces susceptibility to external noise and local interference, improving signal reliability. The white outer jacket resists common environmental effects in indoor installations and provides a neat visual finish. Constructed for standard SAT/coaxial connectivity, it is compatible with a wide range of consumer and professional RF equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting satellite dishes, TV antennas and terrestrial receivers over a 20 m distance
• Indoor and concealed installations where a white cable is preferred
• Professional RF setups requiring high shielding to minimize interference
• Long runs between antenna systems and tuners, set-top boxes or distribution amplifiers

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial (SAT/coaxial standard)
• Length: 20.00 metres
• Shielding: multi-layer, aluminium with digital CCS construction; >110 dB
• Outer jacket colour: white
• Core and conductor: designed for standard antenna/RF signal transmission (single conductor with dielectric)
• Application: antenna and RF equipment interconnection for TV, satellite and related devices

How to use

Cut the cable to the required length only if necessary and terminate with compatible SAT/coaxial connectors following the connector manufacturer's instructions. Ensure connectors are properly fitted and crimped or screwed to maintain the shielding continuity and minimise insertion loss. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields. For wall or ceiling runs, use appropriate clips or conduits to secure the cable and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use high-quality F-type or matching SAT connectors and minimise the number of joints. Keep the cable away from mains power cables and large transformers to reduce potential interference. When installing outdoors or in exposed locations, provide additional protection such as conduit or weatherproofing at connection points to prevent moisture ingress.
