Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικής ίνας DeLOCK LC - SC 3m

This OM4 fiber optic cable from DELOCK is a 3 m LC–SC duplex patch cable designed for high-speed connections between networking devices. It features a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 multimode fiber construction, making it suitable for linking SFP or InfiniBand modules to switches, media converters, or NICs with compatible ports.

Advantages

The LC to SC configuration provides a compact LC connector at one end and a standard SC connector at the other, enabling compatibility with a wide range of equipment. OM4 multimode fiber and duplex wiring support reliable full-duplex data transmission and high bandwidth over short to medium distances. The 3 m length offers flexibility for cabinet and rack installations without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP or InfiniBand modules to switches and routers
• Linking media converters to networking equipment
• Patch connections in data centre racks and network cabinets
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fiber links (within buildings)

How to use

Identify the LC and SC ports on your devices, ensuring they accept multimode fiber connections. Insert the LC connector into the LC port of the SFP or InfiniBand module and the SC connector into the corresponding SC port on the switch, media converter, or NIC. Verify that connectors are clean and undamaged before connection. Secure cable routing within racks or along cable trays to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connectors covered when not in use and clean endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Avoid bends below the fiber's minimum bend radius and route the cable away from heavy mechanical stress or sources of electromagnetic interference. Use this OM4 cable for short to medium multimode links where 50 µm fiber is required.
