The ShiverPeaks BS30-52495 HDMI cable is a 40 m connection solution with HDMI Type A (standard) on one end and HDMI Type D (micro) on the other. It complies with HDMI 2.1 signaling and supports a maximum data transfer rate of 48 Gbit/s for high-bandwidth audio and video transmission. The cable is designed for extended runs between devices such as cameras, monitors and televisions while maintaining support for features like 3D content and Audio Return Channel (ARC).

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a long 40 m length suitable for installations where devices are far apart, while preserving a high data throughput of 48 Gbit/s in line with HDMI 2.1 requirements. The combination of Type A and Type D connectors enables direct connection between standard HDMI ports and devices with micro-HDMI interfaces without adapters. The cable’s black finish and slim profile support discreet installation in AV setups, and the specification compatibility ensures reliable transmission of high-resolution video and multi-channel audio.

Suitable for

• Connecting cameras or portable devices with micro-HDMI output to TVs or monitors with standard HDMI input
• Long-distance AV runs in home theatre setups, conference rooms or live production
• Transmitting high-bandwidth content such as 3D video and multichannel audio with ARC support

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector A: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Connector B: HDMI Type D (Micro)
• HDMI specification: 2.1
• Maximum data transfer rate: 48 Gbit/s

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type D (micro) end to the micro-HDMI port of the source device such as a camera or portable media player, and plug the HDMI Type A (standard) end into the display or AV receiver. Ensure both connected devices are powered off when making the connection, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. Use appropriate cable routing to avoid sharp bends and maintain signal integrity over the 40 m run.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight coils and keep the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference. When using long runs, verify device HDMI settings for resolution and refresh rate compatibility, and test signal integrity before final installation. If connection issues occur, check both connector seating and the source/display HDMI configuration.
