InLine® High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet, angled, gold plated, black
Note: For cable lengths of 5 metres and above, 4K/60Hz resolution cannot be guaranteed. Our tests have shown that reliable transmission of 4K/30Hz and 1080p (60Hz) is possible, with a maximum of 4K/24Hz at 15 metres.
HDMI 1.4:
This InLine HDMI cable with specification 1.4 supports 3D content and also has an Ethernet channel and an audio return channel. The audio return channel (ARC) transmits audio signals from the TV to the AV receiver, for example. This allows a speaker system to be integrated into the multimedia setup without additional cables. The Ethernet channel enables network connections between HDMI devices. Significantly higher resolutions than Full HD up to 4kx2k (@30Hz) are supported up to a distance of 5m. (only applies to the flat cable version).

If your 4k HDMI devices or their connections only support a bandwidth of 4k@30Hz, the InLine HDMI cable is suitable for connecting these components. Especially for 4k applications with a low refresh rate such as normal film playback, image editing, presentations and general work on the computer, this bandwidth is sufficient.

Home cinema:The cable is particularly suitable for connecting HDMI components to a 3D home cinema system or AV receiver. Enjoy clear sound with low latency and high resolutions in 4k@30Hz or HD quality.

Streaming:If you stream content from streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Disney+ in Full HD or watch it on a Full HD TV, you can use this cable to connect streaming players such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV or Chromecast.

Gaming consoles:For older gaming consoles with a resolution of only 1080p, this cable supports a smoother gaming experience due to the higher frame rate of 60 frames per second. Examples of older games consoles include Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch and Wii U.

Playback devices:Full HD and / or 3D televisions, projectors or monitors as well as corresponding first-generation 4k devices (4k@30Hz).

Other output devices:Full HD or 4k@30Hz notebooks, PCs, AV receivers, Blu-ray players and set-top boxes for cable TV or satellite services.

Angled
The InLine HDMI cable with angled plug improves the performance and durability of cable connections in many situations. It reduces cable stress, saves space and improves strain relief. This makes it a practical and versatile solution for various cable routing requirements. The angled connector of the InLine HDMI cable allows the cable to run closer to the wall or other obstacles in tight or confined areas, such as behind furniture or in narrow rooms, without having to bend, kink or crush the cable. This saves space, makes the installation more flexible and reduces cable stress. This extends the service life and protects against wear and damage, especially to the connectors. The InLine HDMI cable can, for example, be conveniently and ergonomically connected to televisions that are mounted particularly close to the wall.

Gold-plated contacts
The gold-plated plugs improve the conductivity, durability and corrosion resistance of the InLine HDMI cable. The risk of oxidation or corrosion is significantly reduced. This increases the long-term reliability of the connection, e.g. even in environments with higher humidity. Gold-plated contacts adapt better to the connections and are less susceptible to abrasion and damage when plugging and unplugging. In addition, the higher conductivity can improve signal transmission and therefore picture and sound quality, especially over longer cable runs.

InLine High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet, angled, 15m. Cable length: 15 m, Connector 1: HDMI Type A (Standard), Connector 1 gender: Male, Connector 2: HDMI Type A (Standard), Connector 2 gender: Male, Connector contacts plating: Gold, HDMI version: 1.4, Product colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A angled plug to the source device (Blu-ray player, set-top box, PC, console or streaming player) and the other angled plug to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, projector or monitor). Ensure both devices support the desired HDMI features (for example ARC on the TV and AV receiver). Route the cable along walls or behind furniture using the angled connectors to minimise bending and strain. For optimal signal and longevity, avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks, and secure the cable to prevent tension on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this HDMI 1.4 cable for Full HD and 3D applications and for first-generation 4K devices limited to 4K@30Hz. For 4K@60Hz or HDR content, consider a cable that supports higher HDMI bandwidth (HDMI 2.0/2.1). When frequently plugging and unplugging devices, the gold-plated contacts and angled connectors help reduce wear and improve connection reliability.
