How to use

Install the cable as part of a compatible charging station or wallbox following local electrical codes and manufacturer installation instructions. When charging, connect the Type 2 plug to the vehicle inlet until it is fully seated and locked if the system provides locking. Ensure the charging station is configured to supply the correct phase and current for the vehicle. After charging, follow the charger’s unlocking and disconnection procedure before stowing the cable on its holder or reel if provided.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility of vehicle and charger for Type 2 connections and the supported power level. Have a qualified electrician perform the tethered cable installation on a charging unit, and inspect the cable periodically for wear, damage to the jacket, or connector contamination. Avoid exposure to sharp edges, excessive heat, or chemical solvents to maintain safe operation.
