Καλώδιο Extralink DAC SFP+ SFP+ DAC 10 Gbit/s 3 m AWG30

The Extralink DAC SFP+ SFP+ DAC Cable 10Gbps 3m AWG30 is a 3-meter direct attach copper cable with male SFP+ connectors on both ends designed for short-distance 10Gbps connections. It provides a straightforward, low-latency link between switches, servers and storage devices in data centers and enterprise networks where high port density and reduced power consumption are required.

Advantages

This SFP+ DAC cable delivers 10 Gbps transmission over a 3 m copper assembly, offering lower power usage and reduced latency compared with optical transceivers. The integrated SFP+ connectors simplify installation and improve reliability in high-density racks. The cable is compatible with standard SFP+ ports and meets industry performance expectations for Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches within a rack or between adjacent racks
• Linking servers to top-of-rack switches
• Interconnecting storage arrays, SAN and NAS equipment

Key specifications

• Transmission speed: 10 Gbps
• Length: 3 m
• Cable type: Direct Attach Copper (DAC)
• Conductor gauge: AWG30
• Connector type: Male SFP+ on both ends

How to use

Insert each male SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered according to manufacturer guidelines and verify link status in device management interfaces. Use this cable for short-reach, high-speed links inside racks or between adjacent racks; avoid routing the cable where it may be sharply bent or pinched.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable within typical data center environmental conditions, avoid excessive bending, and confirm compatibility with your equipment's SFP+ ports. Use DAC SFP+ cable for short-distance, high-throughput interconnections rather than long-span links.
