Καλώδιο επέκτασης USB ShiverPeaks 75604, ενεργός ενισχυτής σήματος, μήκος 5 m, USB-A

The ShiverPeaks USB extension cable 5 m with active signal booster and USB-A connectors extends standard USB-A connections while maintaining data integrity and signal strength across longer distances. This 5-m active USB extension is bus-powered and designed for plug-and-play use with common USB 2.0 peripherals. The cable supports reliable extension of existing USB connections without additional power supplies or special drivers.

Advantages

This active USB extension cable preserves signal quality over a five-metre run by using an integrated signal booster, reducing data errors and connection dropouts compared with passive extensions of the same length. The USB-A connectors provide broad compatibility with mice, keyboards, printers, webcams and many external storage devices. Its bus-powered design eliminates the need for an external power adapter, and the plug-and-play operation simplifies installation for desktop and laptop setups.

Suitable for

• Extending wired mice and keyboards to desktop or workstation setups
• Connecting printers and scanners located further from the host computer
• Positioning webcams and headsets for video conferencing at a longer distance
• Linking external hard drives or flash drives when a longer cable run is required
• Temporary or permanent cable rerouting in offices, meeting rooms and home workspaces

Key specifications

• Cable type: active USB extension with integrated signal booster
• Length: 5 metres
• Connector type: USB-A to USB-A (male-to-female extension)
• Power: bus-powered (no external adapter required)
• Compatibility: designed for USB 2.0 peripherals and backward-compatible USB devices
• Use case: data and peripheral extension where signal integrity is required over longer distances

How to use

Connect the male USB-A end of the extension cable into an available USB-A port on your computer or hub, then plug the peripheral's USB-A connector into the female end of the extension. The integrated signal booster will activate automatically from the host bus power and requires no driver installation. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable connection and avoid unnecessary tension on the cable to prevent connector or cable damage.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines or coils of excess cable which can introduce interference. If you plan to extend high-current devices such as powered external hard drives, use a powered USB hub or a dedicated powered extension solution to ensure sufficient power delivery. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or corrosion and reseat connections if intermittent behaviour is observed.
