Καλώδιο διπλής οπτικής ίνας InLine SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 7,5m

This InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 7.5m is a multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed, bidirectional data transmission over short to medium distances. The cable uses OM3 fiber with a 50/125 µm core/cladding structure and SC duplex connectors on both ends to provide reliable links for network equipment, switches, media converters and active optical devices. The 7.5 meter length balances reach and flexibility for rack-to-rack or cross-room connections while maintaining signal integrity for applications that require low insertion loss and controlled modal bandwidth.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode construction supports higher bandwidth and better laser-optimized performance compared with earlier multimode grades, enabling improved throughput for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed applications over the supported reach. SC/SC duplex termination provides simple push-pull mating and stable optical alignment. The 7.5 m length reduces the need for additional patching while the standardized 50/125 µm core size ensures compatibility with common multimode transceivers and cabling infrastructure. The cable assembly is built to deliver consistent optical performance and mechanical durability in typical indoor networking environments.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centers, server rooms and telecommunications closets
• Patch connections between switches, routers and optical transceivers
• Interconnecting active equipment such as media converters and optical modules
• Structured cabling where multimode OM3 performance is specified

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core / cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC duplex on both ends (SC/SC)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Mode: Duplex (bi-directional pairs)
• Typical applications: 10GbE and multimode optical links

How to use

Inspect both SC connectors and mating ports to ensure they are clean and free of dust before making connections. Align the SC duplex connector with the device port and insert until it clicks into place; confirm secure seating to minimize return loss. Route the cable with gentle bends and avoid sharp kinks or compression that could increase attenuation. For removal, press the SC connector latch (if present) and pull straight out. When organizing multiple cables, use cable management to prevent strain on connector ends and maintain bend radius consistent with multimode fiber best practices.

Recommendations

Use fiber optic cleaning tools and inspection equipment when connecting to sensitive transceivers, and store unused connectors with protective dust caps. Limit tight bends and protect the cable from mechanical stress; follow OM3 multimode guidelines to achieve expected bandwidth and link lengths for 10 Gigabit Ethernet deployments.
