Καλώδιο διπλής οπτικής ίνας InLine SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 25m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 25m is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for high-bandwidth optical networks. It has two SC connectors on each end and a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter with OM3 performance characteristics, enabling efficient transmission in data center and enterprise environments over a 25 meter length.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable supports high data rates and low attenuation typical for OM3 multimode fiber, ensuring stable connections between switches, patch panels and transceivers. The standardized SC connectors provide simple, push-pull mating and consistent optical alignment. The 25 m length allows flexible routing within racks and between equipment in medium-sized installations, while the multimode design facilitates easy termination and compatibility with common multimode transceivers.

Suitable for

• Data center horizontal and vertical backbone links
• Connections between network switches, servers and storage systems
• Patch panel and rack-to-rack interconnects
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fiber links in enterprise networks

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers)
• Connector type: SC to SC, simplex-style housings with duplex cable assembly
• Cable length: 25 m
• Typical applications: 10 Gbit/s and higher multimode links, short-wave transceiver compatibility
• Jacket: PVC/LSZH options commonly used in indoor installations (verify variant before purchase)

How to use

Route the duplex cable between equipment making sure to maintain bend radii recommended for multimode fiber to avoid increased attenuation. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place, observing correct polarity for transmit and receive pairs. Avoid touching the fiber endfaces; clean connectors with an appropriate fiber cleaning tool before mating. Secure the cable along rack channels or cable management paths to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 50/125 µm duplex cable for multimode links where 10 Gbit/s performance or higher is required over short to medium distances. For reliable long-term operation, keep connectors clean, avoid tight bends and protect the cable from mechanical stress. Confirm jacket material (PVC or LSZH) to match installation fire-code requirements.
