Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS08-35012 Κίτρινο 0,5 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35012 Yellow 0.5m Cat7 U/UTP is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. This 0.5 metre Cat7 cable uses U/UTP construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to deliver stable signal transmission and low contact resistance. It is rated for data transfer speeds up to 10,000 Mbit/s and is suitable for linking network equipment where a short, visible cable is required.

Advantages

The cable's Cat7 specification provides improved performance compared with earlier twisted-pair categories, enabling higher bandwidth and better crosstalk handling. U/UTP shielding reduces external interference while keeping the cable flexible and easy to route. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs enhance durability and ensure consistent electrical contact. The yellow jacket offers clear visual identification for organised cabling runs.

Suitable for

• Short connections between patch panels and switches in racks or cabinets
• Connecting network devices on desks where colour-coding aids organisation
• Temporary or permanent links in server rooms and network closets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall shield with unshielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Colour: yellow

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device or switch until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable for short runs where a 0.5 m length is adequate; avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to maintain cable integrity. When connecting equipment in racks, route the cable to minimise strain on the connectors and keep the installation tidy using appropriate management accessories.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius above manufacturer-recommended limits. Use colour-coded cables like this yellow unit to simplify identification in multi-cable installations. Inspect connectors periodically and replace the cable if physical damage or intermittent connectivity appears.
