Καλώδιο δικτύου METZ CONNECT E-DAT V6 2m Cat6 S/FTP κίτρινο

The METZ CONNECT E-DAT V6 2m Cat6 S/FTP yellow networking cable is a fully shielded patch lead designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It uses Cat.6 construction with S/FTP (overall braid plus foil on each pair) and a PUR outer sheath for mechanical durability. The cable is fitted with a shielded RJ45 plug on one end and a shielded RJ45‑IP67‑V6 plug on the other, wired 1:1 and compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 Class E and DIN EN 50173‑1 specifications.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The PUR sheath provides abrasion and chemical resistance for use in industrial or exposed setups. Shielded connectors maintain the cable's grounded shielding continuity. The yellow cable jacket increases visibility for identification in complex cable runs.

Suitable for

• Industrial Ethernet and machine communications
• Server rooms and structured cabling where Cat6 Class E performance is required
• Outdoor-proximate or exposed indoor installations requiring durable sheathing
• Applications needing a shielded connection with IP67-rated RJ45 interface

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Category: Cat6 (Class E)
• Construction: S/FTP (overall braid + foil each pair), AWG 26/7
• Connectors: 1 x RJ45 (shielded) and 1 x RJ45‑IP67‑V6 (shielded)
• Wiring: 1:1 assignment
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06 (Class E), DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09
• Sheath: PUR
• Color: Yellow (cable), Gray (connector)

How to use

Connect the shielded RJ45 plug to your network device and the RJ45‑IP67‑V6 plug to the corresponding equipment or IP67 inlet, ensuring correct alignment of the plug and socket. The cable uses a straight 1:1 wiring scheme, so no pin remapping is necessary. For optimal shielding performance, ensure both connected devices provide proper connector grounding.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its specified temperature and bending radius limits; avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile strain. For installations in electrically noisy or industrial environments, verify connector grounding and routing to minimize EMI. Replace the cable if the PUR sheath or connector shielding shows visible damage.
