The Helos FTTH-Anschlussset LC-APC Pre-terminated 372091 is a pre-terminated fiber optic network cable designed for FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) installations. Equipped with LC-APC connectors, the cable supports high-speed data transmission with low back-reflection, enabling reliable signal delivery for residential and commercial fiber networks. The assembly is intended for straightforward deployment where a factory-terminated end and consistent connector quality are required.

Advantages

The pre-terminated design reduces onsite termination work and simplifies installation, minimizing the need for specialized splicing tools. LC-APC connectors provide low insertion loss and reduced return loss compared to flat connectors, improving performance for broadband and high-bandwidth services. The Helos assembly offers consistent connector polishing and factory-controlled quality, which helps maintain signal integrity and reduces installation time.

Suitable for

• FTTH installations in residential buildings
• Fiber backbone or drop connections in commercial premises
• High-bandwidth services such as IPTV, VoIP, and gigabit internet
• Quick replacement or pre-installed cabling in renovation projects

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC-APC on pre-terminated ends
• Fiber type: single-mode fiber suitable for FTTH
• Termination: factory-polished pre-terminated connectors
• Application: indoor/outdoor drop or patching in access networks
• Performance characteristics: low insertion loss and low return loss typical for APC connectors

How to use

Plan the cable route and verify required length before installation. Route the pre-terminated Helos FTTH cable through ducts or conduits, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical strain. Secure the cable at appropriate intervals and connect the LC-APC connectors to compatible ports in distribution boxes, wall outlets, or optical patch panels. Verify optical continuity and signal levels with suitable test equipment after connection. If necessary, protect exposed connectors with dust caps until final mating.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable and LC-APC connectors in a clean environment to avoid contamination. Observe minimum bend radius for single-mode fiber and avoid excessive pulling forces. Use compatible adapters and panels for APC connectors to preserve low return loss and overall link performance.
