Καλώδιο δικτύου Extreme Networks 20G-DACP-SFPDDZ5M SFP InfiniBand 0,5 m μαύρο

The Extreme Networks 20G-DACP-SFPDDZ5M is a 0.5 m InfiniBand / fibre optic network cable with SFP connectors at both ends. Designed for high-bandwidth environments, this cable supports 20G data rates and provides a short, robust link suitable for server, switch and storage interconnects. Its black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance while the compact length reduces routing complexity in dense rack setups.

Advantages

This SFP-to-SFP cable delivers low-latency, high-throughput connectivity tailored to data center and enterprise networking needs. The fixed 0.5 m length minimizes signal loss over short distances and helps maintain cable management neatness. Constructed for reliability, the cable is compatible with SFP ports and engineered to sustain consistent 20G performance under typical operating conditions.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches and servers in racks
• High-speed links in data centers and storage networks
• Interconnects for InfiniBand-enabled equipment and fibre optic SFP ports
• Environments requiring tidy cable routing and minimal slack

Key specifications

• Data rate: 20 Gigabit
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: SFP to SFP
• Cable type: InfiniBand / fibre optic
• Colour: Black

How to use

Confirm that both endpoints support SFP fibre connections and 20G operation before installation. Insert each SFP connector into the corresponding SFP cage until it seats securely, following device vendor guidance for hot-plug handling if applicable. Route the 0.5 m cable to avoid sharp bends and stress on connectors; ensure proper retention clips or module latches are engaged. After connecting, verify link status and negotiated speed on both devices through management interfaces or indicator LEDs.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short, high-speed links where a fixed 0.5 m length reduces congestion. Avoid exceeding manufacturer-recommended bend radii, and inspect connectors for debris before insertion. For mixed-vendor environments, confirm SFP compatibility and firmware settings to ensure stable 20G operation.
