The EFB Elektronik RJ45 U/UTP Cat.5e networking cable provides a 10 m connection for data transmission between network devices. It features unshielded U/UTP construction, PVC jacket, and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs on both ends, coded to TIA/EIA 568B. The cable is black and intended for standard Cat5e network deployments requiring reliable wired connectivity.

Advantages

This Cat.5e cable offers stable signal transmission for typical Ethernet applications, compatibility with RJ-45 ports on computers, switches and routers, and a durable PVC outer jacket. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The cable conforms to Cat5e performance and uses the common TIA/EIA 568B wiring standard.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between PCs, switches, routers and modems
• Home networking and small office LAN setups
• Connecting gaming consoles, smart TVs and networked media devices
• Temporary or permanent cabling where 10 m length is required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your computer, switch, router or other network device and the other plug to the desired endpoint. Ensure both devices are powered on and check link/activity LEDs to confirm connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and pinch points and keep the cable away from high-power electrical cables to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this Cat5e cable for networks up to gigabit speeds within typical office and home distances. Replace the cable if connectors are bent or the jacket is damaged. Follow the TIA/EIA 568B wiring convention when terminating or testing connections.
