Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/UTP Cat5e 3m

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/UTP Cat5e 3m networking cable by Dätwyler is a 3-meter, grey patch cable with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends. Compliant with the Cat5e standard, it supports reliable high-speed data transmission for Ethernet networks and structured cabling. The S/UTP (screened/unscreened twisted pair) construction provides consistent electrical performance for typical office, home and industrial network installations.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable offers stable signal transmission over 3 meters with minimal attenuation and crosstalk for standard Gigabit Ethernet use. The RJ‑45 connectors are moulded for a secure fit and reduced connector strain during installation. The neutral grey jacket blends into office and home environments while providing mechanical protection for the internal twisted pairs. The cable’s adherence to Cat5e performance parameters ensures compatibility with a wide range of networking hardware.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and modems within local area networks
• Patch panel to switch or wall socket connections in structured cabling
• Home network setups for streaming, gaming and internet access
• Temporary or permanent workplace network cabling in offices

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/UTP twisted pair
• Category: Cat5e
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ‑45 on both ends
• Jacket colour: Grey
• Typical application: Ethernet (up to Gigabit speeds, depending on network equipment)

How to use

Insert each RJ‑45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use this cable to connect devices such as computers, switches, routers or patch panels. Avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain a bend radius recommended for twisted-pair cables to preserve signal integrity. For permanent installations, route the cable through appropriate cable management and avoid running parallel to large power cables that may introduce interference.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, verify that connected network equipment supports Cat5e or higher and, where possible, test connections with a network tester after installation. Replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage. For environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider screened (STP) or higher-category cabling to improve immunity.
