The EFB Elektronik K8560WS.7.5 RJ-45 Cat6a 7.5 m White is a shielded network cable designed for high-speed wired Ethernet connections. With a 7.5 m length and Cat6a specification, the cable supports up to 10000 Mbit/s data rates and is fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors at both ends. The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. The white jacket provides a discreet appearance for office or home installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides robust protection against external interference and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk, enabling stable high-bandwidth transfers. Compliance with Cat6a performance parameters allows use in 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks over the cable's supported distance. RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network devices such as switches, routers and network interface cards. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across medium distances without additional patching, and the white outer jacket integrates with light-coloured interiors.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in offices and data closets
• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers
• High-definition video streaming and large file transfers
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and crosstalk

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your switch, router or computer and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locked into place for a reliable connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve internal pair geometry and shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, secure the cable using cable ties or clips without compressing the jacket or shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or near high-power electrical equipment. Use the cable within its specified length for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications and verify device port capabilities when implementing high-speed links.
