ShiverPeaks 77023-W is a USB A–B data cable designed for USB 2.0 High Speed connections. It provides a standard USB Type A plug on one end and a USB Type B plug on the other, enabling direct connection between hosts (computers, hubs) and peripherals such as printers and scanners. The cable is intended for data transfer and device communication at USB 2.0 rates and includes gold‑plated contacts to improve corrosion resistance and connection reliability.

Advantages

The gold‑plated connectors reduce oxidation and help maintain stable electrical contact over time. The cable follows the USB 2.0 High Speed specification, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of legacy and current devices that support USB 2.0. Its A–B connector configuration is suitable for typical peripheral-to-host setups, providing a straightforward plug-and-play connection without additional drivers on most systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers, scanners and similar USB peripherals to a computer or USB hub
• Data transfer and device communication at USB 2.0 High Speed rates
• Replacing worn or lost A–B USB cables for office or home equipment

Key specifications

• Interface: USB Type A to USB Type B
• USB standard: USB 2.0 High Speed
• Connector contacts: gold‑plated for improved corrosion resistance
• Colour: white
• Cable length: 3.0 m

How to use

Insert the USB Type A connector into an available USB port on the host device (computer or hub) and plug the USB Type B connector into the peripheral (printer, scanner or similar device). The cable supports plug-and-play operation with devices and operating systems that provide native USB 2.0 support. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a reliable data connection; avoid excessive bending near the connector ends to prolong cable life.

Recommendations

For stable data transfer, use the cable in environments free from strong electromagnetic interference and avoid routing the cable alongside mains power lines where possible. If long-term outdoor or high-humidity usage is expected, inspect the gold‑plated contacts periodically for contamination and clean gently with a dry, lint-free cloth if needed.
