j5create φιλικό προς το περιβάλλον USB-C σε 4-Port Type-C Gen 2 Hub

The j5create Eco-Friendly USB-C to 4-Port Type-C Gen 2 Hub is a compact adapter designed to expand a single USB-C host connection into four high-speed USB Type-C downstream ports. Encased in white ABS with recycled plastic elements, the hub provides USB 3.2 Gen 2 performance at up to 10 Gbps per port while maintaining a pocketable footprint (approximately 100 × 27 × 19 mm). The device supports mainstream operating systems including ChromeOS and is intended for laptops, tablets and desktop systems that require additional Type-C connectivity.

Advantages

The hub combines high-throughput USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer with an eco-conscious enclosure made from ABS and recycled plastic, offering a balance of speed and reduced material impact. Its small size and lightweight design make it suitable for mobile use, and the four Type-C downstream ports allow multiple peripherals to be connected simultaneously without occupying multiple host ports. The device is compatible with a wide range of USB-C equipped computers and supports native USB data protocols for reliable accessory operation.

Suitable for

• Expanding USB-C connectivity on laptops and tablets
• Connecting external SSDs, flash drives and other high-speed storage devices
• Attaching USB-C peripherals such as hubs, docks or adapters
• Use with Chromebooks, MacBooks and Windows laptops that have limited ports

Key specifications

• Host interface: USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1 host connection)
• Downstream ports: 4 × USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2, up to 10 Gbps)
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10 Gbps per port (USB 3.2 Gen 2)
• Material: ABS with recycled plastic components
• Color: White
• Physical dimensions: approx. 100 × 27 × 19 mm
• Compatibility: ChromeOS and common desktop/mobile operating systems with USB-C

How to use

Connect the hub to a computer’s USB-C host port using the integrated or attached USB-C connector. Once connected, the operating system should enumerate each downstream port and make them available for standard USB devices. Plug USB-C storage devices, adapters or other peripherals into any of the four downstream Type-C ports. No additional drivers are typically required for modern operating systems; follow on-screen prompts if the system requests permission to access connected devices.

Recommendations

For best performance, connect high-speed storage devices directly to one of the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports and avoid running multiple heavy-throughput transfers simultaneously from all ports. Ensure your host device supports USB 3.2 speeds to achieve maximum data rates. Handle the hub gently and avoid exposing it to liquids or excessive heat to maintain the integrity of the ABS and recycled plastic enclosure.
