The IWH D1S Xenon HID 35W 85V PK32d-2 automotive headlight bulb is a single-ended xenon lamp designed for vehicles with D1S sockets. Rated at 35 watts and 85 volts, this headlight bulb produces high-intensity xenon light suited for standard HID headlight systems. It serves as a replacement lamp for compatible HID assemblies, offering consistent luminous output and a color temperature typical of xenon discharge bulbs to improve visibility in low-light and adverse weather conditions.

Advantages

This xenon HID bulb provides a stable light output at the specified 35W power and 85V operating voltage, ensuring compatibility with OEM-style ballast units designed for D1S fittings. The single-ended PK32d-2 base enables direct replacement where D1S bulbs are required. The design yields a concentrated beam profile appropriate for projector and reflector housings engineered for xenon lamps, improving road illumination while maintaining focus and minimizing glare when properly aligned.

How to use

Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the ignition key is removed before accessing the headlight assembly. Remove the headlamp cover and disconnect the ballast connector according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions. Carefully extract the old D1S bulb from the housing without touching the glass envelope; oils from skin can shorten lamp life. Insert the IWH D1S bulb into the socket aligned with the PK32d-2 base and secure the retaining mechanism. Reconnect the ballast and replace any covers, then start the vehicle to verify proper ignition and beam alignment. If necessary, adjust headlamp aim following local regulations and the vehicle service manual.

Recommendations

Handle the bulb by its base only and avoid contact with the glass. Use only compatible ballasts and headlamp housings designed for D1S xenon lamps. Have beam alignment checked after replacement to prevent glare and ensure optimal road illumination.
