Irix Edge ND8 105mm Φίλτρο ουδέτερης πυκνότητας

For photographers who demand uncompromising optical quality in extreme lighting, the Irix Edge ND8 105mm filter stands apart with its super-hardened optical glass and precision multi-layer coatings. Unlike ordinary neutral density filters that introduce color casts or degrade sharpness, this filter delivers a true 3-stop light reduction while preserving natural color balance and edge-to-edge clarity. Its slim, double-threaded aluminum frame is engineered to minimize vignetting on wide-angle lenses, making it a reliable tool for long exposures and wide-aperture work in bright conditions.

Highlights

• Neutral Density (ND8) filter reduces light by 3 stops (filter factor 8x)
• 105mm diameter fits large-diameter professional lenses
• Super-hardened optical glass with double-sided polishing for high definition
• Multi-layer anti-reflective, hydrophobic, oleophobic, and anti-scratch coatings
• Slim, low-profile aluminum frame with front and rear threads
• Color-neutral performance for accurate color reproduction
• Water and oil repellent surface for easy cleaning

In daily use

Mount the Irix Edge ND8 105mm on your lens to extend exposure times for silky waterfalls, streaking clouds, or smooth water surfaces even in daylight. The 3-stop reduction also allows you to shoot at wider apertures like f/1.4 or f/2.8 in bright sun, achieving shallow depth of field without overexposure. The slim frame prevents vignetting on ultra-wide lenses, while the front thread accepts additional filters or a lens cap. The hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings repel moisture and fingerprints, so you can focus on composition rather than constant cleaning.
