Irix Cine Φακός 45mm T1.5 PL Mount Μετρικό

The Irix Cine Lens 45mm T1.5 in PL mount with metric markings is a full-frame cinema prime that pairs a fast maximum aperture with a compact, weather-sealed build. Unlike many 45mm options that compromise on speed or mechanical precision, this lens delivers a T1.5 light gathering ability, a 43.3mm image circle for VistaVision and full-frame sensors, and a robust aluminum-magnesium alloy housing—all while keeping the focus and iris gears standardized at 0.8 MOD for seamless integration with follow focus systems.

Highlights

• Fast T1.5 maximum aperture for low-light shooting and shallow depth of field
• Full-frame / VistaVision coverage with 43.3mm image circle
• PL mount with metric focus and iris markings
• Weather-sealed construction with 3 seals for reliable outdoor use
• Standardized 0.8 MOD gears on focus and iris rings
• 9 rounded iris blades for smooth, organic bokeh

In daily use

The 45mm focal length offers a natural perspective that closely matches the human field of view, making it a versatile choice for narrative filmmaking, documentaries, and commercial work. The 180° focus rotation allows for precise manual focusing, while the 75° iris rotation enables smooth exposure adjustments. With a minimum focus distance of just 0.4 m, you can move in for detailed close-ups without swapping lenses. The metric scale ensures clear, repeatable focus pulls for ACs and solo operators alike.
