IRIX Cine φακός 11mm T4.3 PL-Mount μετρικός

An ultra-wide rectilinear cinema prime that tames the extreme 123° full-frame field of view with crisp edge-to-edge sharpness and minimal distortion, the IRIX 11mm T4.3 PL-mount Metric stands apart from typical wide-angle lenses that struggle with breathing and soft corners. Built for narrative filmmaking, architectural cinematography, and VFX plates, it delivers a dramatic perspective while keeping straight lines straight.

Highlights

• Ultra-wide 11mm focal length with rectilinear design for straight lines and minimal barrel distortion
• Full-frame coverage (43.3mm image circle) for use with large-format cinema cameras
• Fast T4.3 maximum aperture with 9 rounded blades for smooth, cinematic bokeh
• Industry-standard 0.8 MOD gears on focus and iris for seamless integration with follow focus systems
• Robust aluminum-magnesium alloy construction with weather sealing (3 rubber seals) for demanding shoots
• Metric focus scale with 180° focus rotation for precise, repeatable pulls

In daily use

On set, the IRIX 11mm T4.3 proves its worth with a close focus distance of just 0.27 m, allowing dramatic foreground emphasis while keeping the background expansive. The 95mm front diameter accommodates standard matte boxes, and the rear gel filter slot offers a convenient way to add ND or color correction without bulky front filters. The focus and iris rings are engineered with consistent resistance and clear markings, enabling accurate marks and smooth operation even when using wireless lens control systems.
