How to use

Before installation, disconnect power to the fixture and allow it to cool. Remove the fixture cover or lens assembly according to the manufacturer’s service instructions, access the iris assembly, and replace the old iris with this spare part ensuring correct orientation and secure fastening. Reassemble the housing and test the aperture function by powering the fixture and adjusting beam width through the fixture’s control interface or physical iris control, as applicable.

Recommendations

Handle the iris with care to avoid bending or contaminating the aperture surfaces. Install only when the fixture is powered off and cooled. If the fixture uses a motorized control, verify mechanical alignment and test movement through the full range after installation to ensure smooth operation and avoid stress on the drive mechanism.
