Intellinet Διακόπτης Gigabit Ethernet 8 θυρών, Μέγεθος desktop, Πλαστικό, IEEE 802.3az (Energy Efficient Ethernet), Μαύρο

The Intellinet Gigabit Ethernet Switch 8-Port Desktop Size in black provides eight RJ-45 ports for connecting Ethernet-ready devices at speeds up to 1000 Mbps. Designed for home offices and small businesses, this compact switch supports IEEE 802.3 standards, a switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s, full duplex operation and a MAC address table of 4000 entries, offering reliable wired networking for computers, servers, printers and other network equipment.

Advantages

Compact desktop design and plastic housing make the switch easy to place in small workspaces. Auto-negotiation and plug-and-play functionality remove the need for configuration, while Green Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) reduces power consumption by monitoring and disabling unused ports. With 8 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45 ports and support for common IEEE networking standards, the device delivers stable wired throughput and compatibility with existing network equipment.

Suitable for

• Home office networks connecting multiple computers and printers
• Small business workgroups and point-of-sale systems
• Expanding wired connections for routers or existing switches
• Compact desktop setups where space is limited

How to use

Place the switch on a stable, flat surface near your router or network devices. Connect each Ethernet device to an available RJ-45 port using Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Connect the switch to power and allow it to initialize; LEDs will indicate link activity and speed. The switch operates without additional configuration—devices will negotiate link speed automatically and communicate over the wired network.

Recommendations

For best performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables, ensure adequate ventilation around the unit, and connect high-traffic devices to Gigabit-capable ports. If power savings are desired, rely on the built-in Green Ethernet feature to reduce consumption on unused ports.
