How to use

Insert each cage nut into the square opening of the rack's latching rail with the cage oriented to match the device U (rail orientation). Secure the nut in place until it clips into the opening, then position the device and fasten using the supplied screws and washers through the equipment's mounting holes. Tighten screws to a firm, hand-controlled torque appropriate for M6 fasteners to avoid thread damage.

Recommendations

Use the supplied washers to distribute load and reduce wear on sheet metal rails. Inspect cage nuts for secure clipping before final installation and avoid over-torquing screws to prevent stripping the threads.
