Select the appropriate input on the monitor and configure display settings on the computer as needed to match resolution and refresh rate supported by the VGA monitor.

Recommendations

Use this adapter only when the DVI port provides an analog (DVI-A) signal; it will not convert digital-only DVI-D signals to VGA. For stable image quality, match the computer's output resolution to the native resolution of the VGA monitor and avoid forcing unsupported modes.
