InLine Καλώδιο βίντεο S-VHS 4-πολικό αρσενικό/αρσενικό 2m

The InLine S-VHS Video Cable InLine 89950 2m Male/Male is a 2-meter S-Video connection cable with male 4-pin connectors on both ends, designed to transmit analogue video signals between compatible devices. It supports standard S-Video signal formats and is suitable for connecting S-Video outputs and inputs on equipment such as DVD players, VCRs, camcorders, televisions and video capture devices. The cable's black jacket provides a discreet appearance for home theater or professional setups.

Advantages

This S-Video cable provides separate luminance and chrominance signal paths to help maintain image detail and color separation compared with composite connections. The 2 m length offers flexibility for typical living room or studio arrangements while keeping signal attenuation low. The male 4-pin S-Video connectors on each end ensure simple plug-and-play connection without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD players, VCRs or camcorders to televisions with S-Video ports
• Linking video capture devices to analogue video sources for digitization
• Home theater setups where separate luminance/chrominance signals are preferred
• Professional or semi-professional video equipment that supports S-Video

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type (each end): S-Video 4-pin (male)
• Signal type: Analogue S-Video (separate Y/C signals)
• Outer colour: Black
• Typical applications: Video transmission between S-Video devices

How to use

Connect one male 4-pin S-Video plug to the S-Video output on the source device and the other plug to the S-Video input on the display or capture device. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid potential signal interference. After making the physical connection, power on devices and select the appropriate input on the display or capture software to receive the S-Video signal.

Recommendations

Avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources or unshielded power cables to reduce potential interference. For longer runs or digital workflows, consider using appropriate digital connections (e.g., HDMI or SDI) or video converters if the equipment supports them. Store the cable coiled without tight bends to preserve connector integrity and cable performance.
