Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών duplex LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 7,5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 7.5m is a multimode fiber cable designed for high-speed data transmission in local networks and data center interconnects. It features a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 graded multimode specification to support elevated bandwidth and longer reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. The duplex configuration with LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other provides flexible connectivity between equipment with different port types while preserving full-duplex communication.

Advantages

This fiber patch cable offers low insertion loss and controlled return loss thanks to factory-terminated LC and SC connectors. The OM3 multimode fiber supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and higher short-range optical links when paired with appropriate transceivers and active equipment. With a 7.5 meter length, the cable provides installation flexibility in racks, cabinets and office layouts without excessive slack. The compact LC connector enables high-density patching and the SC connector provides a robust push-pull interface for older or mixed installations.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centers and server rooms
• Fiber patching between switches, transceivers and media converters
• Multimode network backbones and horizontal cabling runs
• Connection of equipment with mixed LC and SC ports

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers)
• Connector A: LC (single-row duplex)
• Connector B: SC (simplex housings on duplex cable)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Polish type: Typically UPC/PC (factory-terminated connectors)
• Application wavelength range: common multimode wavelengths (e.g., 850/1300 nm)

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fiber to prevent increased attenuation. Connect the LC end to the device or transceiver with an LC duplex port and insert the SC end into the SC adapter or equipment port, ensuring connectors are clean before mating. For reliable performance, inspect or clean connector end faces with approved fiber cleaning tools and secure the cable along trays or racks to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Avoid exceeding the recommended operating temperature and do not apply tensile loads beyond the cable's specified limits. Use OM3-compatible transceivers or active modules for optimal bandwidth and follow standard fiber-optic safety procedures when installing or troubleshooting.
