InLine καλώδιο οπτικών ινών duplex, LC/LC 50/125µm, OM3, 50m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 50/125µm OM3 50m is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network environments. It provides LC connectors on both ends and a 50m length suitable for medium-range connections within data centers, server rooms, or building backbones. The OM3 fiber type and 50/125µm core/cladding structure deliver optimized performance for laser-based sources and support modern multimode applications.

Advantages

This duplex cable supports full-duplex communication and is constructed to maintain low insertion loss and consistent signal integrity over multimode links. The OM3 specification improves bandwidth and modal dispersion characteristics compared with lower graded multimode fibers, enabling reliable performance for 10GbE and other high-speed links where OM3 is applicable. The standardized LC connectors provide compact, repeatable connections compatible with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Horizontal and vertical cabling within data centers and server rooms
• Interconnections between switches, routers, and transceivers supporting LC interfaces
• High-speed multimode links such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet where OM3 performance is required
• Patch panels and fiber distribution frames in enterprise network installations

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 50 m
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers for transmit and receive)
• Typical application: Short- to medium-range multimode fiber links

How to use

Install the cable by connecting each LC connector to the corresponding LC port on networking equipment or patch panels, ensuring correct orientation for transmit and receive pairs. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain bend radius recommendations for multimode fiber to prevent increased attenuation. When terminating into panels, use dust caps until final connection, and clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before insertion to minimize insertion loss and back reflections.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling force. For best performance, use with compatible OM3-capable transceivers and verify link budget and connector cleanliness during installation and maintenance.
