Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electrical interference. For terminated installations, verify connections by making a test call or checking device connectivity.

Recommendations

Use the cable for telephony and low-speed data links; avoid using it for network Ethernet connections. When running the cable over long paths, keep it separated from power lines to reduce potential interference. Replace the cable if connectors become loose or the insulation shows visible damage.
