InLine καλώδιο Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 γωνιακό σε 4x SATA + Sideband 1 m

The InLine Mini SAS HD Cable SFF-8643 angled to 4x SATA 1m is an internal data cable designed to connect a Mini SAS HD 4i (SFF-8643) interface to up to four SATA devices. With a 1 meter length and an angled SFF-8643 plug, it supports tidy cable routing in server and storage environments and provides a reliable connection between a SAS controller/backplane and multiple SATA drives.

Advantages

The angled SFF-8643 connector reduces strain and saves space in tight chassis layouts. The cable converts a single Mini SAS HD port to four SATA ports, enabling connection of multiple drives from one controller. A 1 m length offers flexibility for common internal cabling distances. The product colour is black, matching typical server internals.

Suitable for

• Connecting a SAS controller or backplane (SFF-8643) to multiple SATA hard drives or SSDs
• Server and rack-mounted storage systems with limited space for straight connectors
• Internal PC/storage chassis cable management where compact routing is required

How to use

Install the angled SFF-8643 plug into the Mini SAS HD 4i port on the SAS controller or backplane, ensuring the connector is seated correctly. Route the cable inside the chassis to avoid obstructing fans or airflow, then connect each SATA plug to the corresponding SATA drive sockets. Verify secure connections before powering the system and configure the controller or BIOS/UEFI as required for the attached drives.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this cable only for internal connections and avoid excessive bending at the connector ends. Ensure the cable length and routing maintain adequate airflow and do not obstruct cooling components.
