The InLine Power Supply Extension Cable 4pin male/female 29650F is a 0.5 m internal extension cable with 4-pin Molex connectors on both ends, designed to extend power connections between the power supply and drives or other internal PC components. Its round cable construction and standard Molex connectors provide a simple solution for increasing reach without altering existing connectors.

Advantages

This extension cable maintains the standard 4-pin Molex interface for compatibility with a wide range of drives and devices. At 0.5 m length it offers additional routing flexibility inside PC cases while preserving reliable power delivery. The male/female configuration allows easy plug-and-play extension without tools or modifications.

Suitable for

• Extending power to internal hard drives and optical drives
• Reaching components in compact or crowded PC cases
• Temporary or permanent internal power cable extensions during upgrades

How to use

Connect the male Molex plug to the power supply or an existing Molex power lead and insert the female Molex connector into the target device’s power socket (for example HDD, SSD adapter or optical drive). Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid forcing the plug in the wrong orientation. Route the cable to prevent contact with moving parts and secure it with tie wraps if necessary.

Recommendations

Use this cable only for internal PC power connections with compatible 4-pin Molex sockets. Avoid using the cable if connectors are damaged or if the cable shows exposed conductors. For best results keep cable length short and ensure proper airflow inside the case.
