InLine καλώδιο επέκτασης DC, βύσμα/υποδοχή DC 5,5x2,5mm, AWG 18, λευκό 5m

The InLine DC extension cable 5.5x2.5mm AWG 18 white 5m is a 5-metre power extension lead with matching 5.5 x 2.5 mm male and female DC connectors. Designed for low-voltage DC power connections, it supports 12 V input and a rated current of 11.6 A, and is suitable for extending power to devices where the original supply cable is too short.

Advantages

This white DC extension cable provides a reliable, electrically compatible 5.5 x 2.5 mm connection over a 5 m distance. AWG 18 conductors allow the cable to carry up to 11.6 A at 12 V, reducing voltage drop for many small to medium-power DC devices. The matching male and female plugs simplify connection without additional adapters, and the cable’s colour and length make it convenient for installations where a discrete, longer lead is required.

Suitable for

• Extending power to CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment
• Powering routers, switches and other networking devices with 5.5x2.5 mm DC jacks
• Connecting LED drivers, small amplifiers and media players
• Temporary or permanent power extensions in audio/video setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: 5.5 x 2.5 mm (male to female)
• Wire gauge: AWG 18
• Rated input voltage: 12 V
• Rated current: 11.6 A
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug the male 5.5 x 2.5 mm connector into the DC output of the power supply and insert the female connector into the device’s DC input. Ensure polarity matches (centre positive or centre negative as required by the device) before powering on. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on connectors. For permanent installations, check connectors periodically for corrosion or wear.

Recommendations

Use this extension cable with power supplies and devices that require a 5.5 x 2.5 mm DC connection and operate at or below the specified 12 V / 11.6 A rating. Do not exceed the rated current to avoid overheating; if higher current or longer runs are needed, consider a cable with larger gauge or a dedicated power solution.
