InLine Καλώδιο επέκτασης DC, DC αρσενικό/θηλυκό 5,5x2,1 mm, AWG 18, μαύρο 1 m

The InLine DC extension cable 5.5x2.1mm AWG 18 black 1m is a one-meter power extension with male and female 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC connectors and AWG 18 conductors. It is designed to extend 12 V DC power lines and carries up to 11.6 A, suitable for extending power supplies to audio/video devices, cameras, routers and other low-voltage equipment.

Advantages

The cable uses AWG 18 wire for reduced voltage drop over its 1 m length and both ends have standard 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC connectors for wide compatibility. Its black PVC jacket provides basic mechanical protection and the assembly is lightweight and flexible for easy routing in installations.

Suitable for

• Extending 12 V DC power to CCTV cameras
• Connecting routers, modems or network devices to external power supplies
• Powering audio/video equipment and LED strips
• Temporary or permanent power extension in small electronics setups

How to use

Identify the male and female 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC connectors and insert them into the corresponding power supply and device sockets until they fit securely. Ensure the power supply is switched off when connecting or disconnecting. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; secure it with cable ties if needed.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its rated 12 V DC and 11.6 A limits. For long runs or higher current demands, choose a thicker-gauge cable to reduce voltage drop. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or damage and replace the cable if insulation is compromised.
