The InLine® USB-C to RJ45 PoE adapter is a professional solution for connecting USB-C devices to wired networks. Specifically designed for industry, IT infrastructures and demanding applications, the adapter offers a reliable connection via an RJ45 interface and supports the IEEE802.3af PoE standard with speeds of up to 100 Mb/s. At the same time, it delivers a charging power of up to 10 W via USB-C Power Delivery – an ideal combination for devices that require both network access and power.
With this adapter, you can, for example, connect a tablet to a network via a patch cable. If the device is connected to a PoE-enabled switch, power is supplied directly via the network. A separate power supply is not required.
Please note: Power is supplied exclusively from the network to the USB-C device. Power cannot be fed back from the USB-C port to the network.
The integrated protection concept, comprising overvoltage and overcurrent protection, ensures maximum operational reliability, even in critical environments. The robust aluminium housing protects the sensitive electronics from external influences and ensures a long service life in industrial applications. Thanks to its simple commissioning without drivers, the adapter is particularly flexible and quick to integrate – whether in mobile service applications, in server racks or for the temporary expansion of existing networks.
With its combination of performance, security and reliability, the InLine® USB-C to RJ45 PoE adapter is an indispensable tool for system integrators, technicians and IT administrators who rely on professional solutions.

How to use

Connect the RJ45 end to a PoE-capable Ethernet port and plug the USB-C cable into the target device. The adapter will enumerate automatically via Plug & Play; no drivers are required for standard operating systems. Ensure the PoE source provides IEEE802.3af power and keep the device within the specified operating temperature range for reliable operation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with PoE ports compliant with IEEE802.3af and verify that the connected USB-C device accepts up to 5 V / 2 A. For industrial installations, mount or route the adapter to minimize mechanical stress and exposure to liquids or excessive vibration. Do not exceed the specified temperature limits.
