iFixit FixHub μύτη κολλητηριού μαχαίρι 1,4mm IF145-842-1 ασημί

The iFixit FixHub Knife Soldering Tip (1.4mm) is a precision replacement tip designed exclusively for the iFixit FixHub Soldering Iron. The knife shape is ideal for drag soldering, cutting PCB traces, cleaning solder pads, and tackling fine soldering tasks that require directional control across a flat or angled contact surface. The 1.4mm width provides a balance between precision and heat transfer capacity.

Advantages

Built with a copper core and multi-layer iron and chrome plating, this tip delivers excellent thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, extending its usable lifespan significantly compared to uncoated tips. It is fully compatible with lead-free solder, making it suitable for RoHS-compliant electronics work. The screw-on installation is secure and allows quick tip changes on the FixHub iron without tools. The tip is ESD-safe, protecting sensitive components during repair.

Suitable for

• Electronics technicians and repair professionals performing PCB rework and component replacement
• Hobbyists and makers using the iFixit FixHub station for precision soldering projects
• Drag soldering SMD components where a flat-edge knife tip offers better control than a conical or chisel tip

How to use

Power down and allow the FixHub iron to cool before changing tips. Unscrew the existing tip counterclockwise and thread the new IF145-842-1 knife tip clockwise until snug. Tin the tip with a small amount of solder immediately after first heating to prolong its life. For drag soldering, hold the iron at a low angle and draw the knife edge across a row of pre-fluxed SMD pins in a single smooth pass.

Recommendations

For PCB repair and rework requiring a versatile edge tip, the iFixit IF145-842-1 knife tip is an essential addition to any FixHub iron kit — the 1.4mm knife profile handles everything from fine trace cutting to drag soldering IC legs cleanly and precisely.
