i-tec Metal Superspeed USB 3.0 Hub 7 θυρών

The i-tec Metal Superspeed 7-Port Hub (U3HUB778) expands a single USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port into seven additional USB ports, enabling connection of multiple peripherals to a notebook, Ultrabook or PC. The hub is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, features a built-in 28 cm USB cable and supports SuperSpeed data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. Its metal housing, compact dimensions (183 x 37 x 18 mm) and lightweight design (116 g) make it suitable for both desktop and mobile use. An AC power adapter can be used to supply additional power for charging or for power-hungry devices. No drivers are required — plug and play.

Advantages

The hub provides seven USB 3.0 ports in a single compact unit with a durable metal enclosure and integrated cable. It supports high-speed transfers up to 5 Gbps while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 devices. The lightweight and slim design ease transport, and optional AC power input allows using mains power for charging or powering multiple external drives and devices.

How to use

Connect the hub’s built-in USB Type-A cable to an available USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 port on your computer. Attach up to seven USB devices to the hub’s ports. For higher power demand devices or when charging multiple devices, connect the included AC adapter to the hub to provide mains power. The hub requires no driver installation — it functions as plug and play on compatible Windows and macOS systems.

Recommendations

For optimal transfer speeds, connect high-performance devices (external SSDs or HDDs) to the hub while the hub is connected to a USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 port on the host. Use the AC adapter when powering several devices or when charging to avoid drawing excessive power from the host computer’s USB port.
